" When we start to focus on something it begins to expand. If you focus on positive things, it will expand ... and if you focus on negativity, that too will expand. So when we practice yoga we are developing attention and we are attempting to become more aware in the present moment."
Saraswathi Vasudevan
Yoga Sutra-s of Patanjali
The Yoga Sutra-s is considered the most foundational and authoritative of all yoga texts.
Authored over two thousand years ago by the sage Patanjali, this seminal work presents all the major concepts of yoga ‘threaded’ or ‘sutured’ together in 195 concise aphorisms over four chapters.
The philosophy of yoga is mainly concerned with the 'Mind' and how it can be the cause of our suffering; as well as the solution to help us alleviate suffering.
